"I started my career at Prezzo's sister restaurant Chimichanga in Ipswich as part time waitress. After a year I transferred to Prezzo Woodbridge as Floor supervisor and then 6 months later I was promoted to Assistant Manager in the same restaurant. After 3 years as an assistant Manager I was promoted to Manager at Bury St Edmunds. Most recently I've moved to the our new Felixstowe restaurant where I am working today.
When I arrive to work, I start the day with a list of manager checks around the restaurant which will include getting the restaurant and staff prepared for shift. Before our lunchtime service starts, I will get my team together for our daily brief. Once we open, I will spend most of my time interacting with our guests ensuring they have everything they need and delegating different tasks to my team. I am also responsible for the day to day running of the restaurant including stock control, Health and Safety and all other paperwork."
